A brief history of mathematics is a show presented by Professor Marcus du Sautoy he has some similarities to my podcast idea as the main focus of his shows is that he argues about the idea of mathematics and how it affects modern science and technology.
One of his key features in this radio show is he talks about all the basics of science and math and how it creates so many things that we have this obviously means the function of technology in modern day society from the views of a professor of a high degree.

As shown by the viewing figures above the radio 4 show reaches 11,205 a twenty one percent reach meaning it reaches around twenty one perent of local house holds in the local area at the time. Around 2.4 head is made this means income made by the show s a daily listening time of eleven and half hours per listener .One hundred and twenty eight hours per week and TSA share of 12.50.
All in all the radio show is a successful radio station as the income of show is fairly standard as the shows are mainly interviews and political conversation with programs of art and science.
More successful radio shows are shows that do actual radio as in musical however this is not the format i am approaching at this time.
