Podcast 1 Guardian Podcast (Politics) 46.2
In the following podcast which is the Guardian Podcast i will be analysing the podcast and how it is structured breaking it down to see how it works and how the podcast manages itself and how it is able to still go on today.
The Guardian podcast has a range a of podcast however with the main podcast it is mainly discussed on current news events mainly politics and the economic system also how it effects the public.
The genre of this podcast is political however with hints of education as it tells those listening in further detail the subject they are discussing breaking it down so people who do not have academic language.
The podcast has a main presenter who uses audio clips and interviews previously recorded he then goes back to these audio clips as references.
How he structures it he uses these clips as way of communication this means that he talks about the subject and then introduces the audio clip as if the person is currently there or he mentions the interview and then proceeds to move forward with he audio clip.
The Guardian politics is an objective podcast ; what happens in politics is indeed facts it is happening everyday it is a permanent present subject. Furthermore the present is reading off what he has researched currently.
However he may not agree with the polices that certain parties have made official but the presenter has a neutral mind and does neither agree nor disagree with the polices he just reports it to the audience to let them know with recorded audio clips as proof to share with the audience.
On the other hand he also lets the audience have there say on the show to see what they think about either new polices or old polices but keeps the audience calm so not to cause any unnecessary mishap.
