They have a podcast based around current events in the news however the events are not brought to the public eye as many as other articles this is due to either that the articles are not as serious as other current events or that the articles they discuss are used as a term of humour as many of the stories they encounter seem ludicrously unreal which makes the humour that touch more hilarious.
The podcast is presenter driven they have the two main hosts which are Simon Lane & Lewis Brindley however when the duo have guests they engage the guests with questions or hypothetical situations in which some cases cause odd responses or sheer embarrassment to the guest which makes for hilarious commentary it also allows the guest to relax and becomes more open with the audience.
Furthermore with the YOGPOD being owned by the popular youtube group The Yogscast they often talk about there internet fame in which they have met fans and how things turned out this often leads to ridiculously funny stories and situations which makes the audience laugh.
With the Yogscast having more then one channel often invite the other members on to the podcast to talk to them or interview them about how they are or how the channel is doing.
On occasions such as Halloween they YOGPOD has holiday specials linking to the theme of the season for Halloween this includes reading true horror stories or urban legends this is to scare the audience or attempt to they then close with a horror story which has happened to them often ends with a joke or a funny anecdote.
The YOGPOD has currently been re-formated this is not a big change it has simply has a new segment which is called "Simple Simon" in which Simon Lane one of the hosts has to answer questions about their guest in which Lewis Brindley has sent the questions to the guest and only Lewis and the guest knows the answers to.
This started with Yougscast member and has since turned to interviewing movie script writers and actors which are well known for their work.
